Joaquín Rodríguez

He holds a PhD in sociology and co-edits the magazine Archipiélago. Cuadernos de Crítica de la Cultura. He has published two books, Pierre Bourdieu. Sociología y subversión (La Piqueta) and El desorden de las cosas (CSIC). He is a regular contributor to several periodicals including Le Monde Diplomatique, Pliegos de Yuste and El Viejo Topo. He also works as an editor for Siglo XXI, Paidós, Santillana and other publishers. His interests include laicism as a basis of intercultural coexistence, the civic and secular foundations of democratic coexistence in a globalised world and the development of new forms of internationalism.
