 le of the programme to be offered from the 4th to 11th of October in S
 an Sebastian as part of Special Issue\, a networked European programme
 . \nThe network comprises Les Laboratoires d’Aubervilliers\, In-pres
 entable (Madrid)\, Station (Belgrade)\, Hybris Konstproduktion (Stockh
 olm)\, BIS (Istanbul) and Mugatxoan (San Sebastian)\, structures creat
 ed by artists to produce suitable contexts for an art that is in the p
 rocess of being invented. \nWe begin with the question “In what way 
 does today's performance publish discourse?” and go on to ask\: How 
 to be without being? What does one perceive from a piece of performanc
 e when one only hears it\, without seeing it? Could one ever perceive 
 the space where it is performed and the image it produces? When does t
 he body disappear? Is the voice body?\nTo answer these and other quest
 ions\, we have made up a programme\, consisting of presentations and t
 wo workshops given by Manuel Cirauqui and Peio Aguirre\, which will ra
 ise theoretical and practical reflections on issues related to these t
 hemes.
